1. Can scar patches cover tattoos?
No. Scar patches are different from tattoo cover patches. Please select the correct product type when placing your order.

2. Can tattoo cover patches cover scars?
Yes, tattoo cover patches can also cover scars, but scar patches cannot cover tattoos. Tattoo patches are slightly thicker with a darker center layer to hide tattoo ink, while scar patches are thinner and blend more naturally with skin.

3. Are SakuraTape scar and tattoo patches waterproof and sweatproof?
Yes! They are highly water-resistant, so you can shower, swim, or go to the beach without worrying about peeling.

4. How long does each patch last?
Each patch can last 3–7 days depending on placement. They adhere strongly and cover well without causing irritation.

5. What’s the difference between tattoo cover patches and scar cover patches?

• Tattoo patches are thicker (about 0.02 mm) and designed to hide dark ink or birthmarks. Available in larger sizes (up to 14×20 cm).

• Scar patches are thinner (about 0.01 mm) and available in smaller sizes, including coin-sized (1.5 cm) patches.
  Both types share the same waterproof, long-lasting, skin-tone features.

6. How do I choose the right color?
We offer 5 skin-tone shades. First, identify your skin type (fair, natural, or tan). Compare with our patch shades to find the best match. Keep in mind skin tones can vary by body area (e.g. face vs. knees). Need help? Message us for a personalized recommendation.

7. How do I choose the right size?
Step 1: Identify and outline your tattoo or scar area.
Step 2: Measure length and width with a ruler.
Step 3: Select the patch size that best fits your measurements.

8. Can SakuraTape patches cover scars or blemishes on the face?
Yes, they can fully cover facial scars or blemishes. You can even apply makeup on top as usual. For the most natural result, message us to choose the right size and tone.

9. Do the patches cause skin irritation?
No. SakuraTape patches are made in Japan with safe materials: ultra-thin silicone and natural rubber adhesive. They are lightweight, non-sticky like concealer creams, and tested to be safe on all skin types.
